Thursday, September 10, 12:00-2:00 PM: HVAF Stand Down

Location: Indiana National Guard Armory, 3912 West Minnesota Street, Indianapolis, IN

Goal: Appear and connect. Is this something we participate in next year and what is our focus and offering?

Tuesday, September 15: 7:00 PM, Military Ministry Meeting

Location: CLC-Carmel, Room 102

Thursday, September 17, 4:00-8:00 PM: POW-MIA Council "Watchfire"

Location: Indiana War Memorial (IWM), 55 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN

The program begins outdoors with placement of 1,700+ flags representing one for each of Indiana’s still Missing in Action from WWII through Vietnam War.  Flag placement begins at 4:00 pm.  At the conclusion of flag placement, approximately 6:00 pm, the program continues indoors in historic Pershing Auditorium for the formal ceremony, concluding at approximately 8:00 p.m.

Location: Plainfield High School Gymnasium, 1 Red Pride Drive, Plainfield, IN

BRING AMERICAN FLAGS, SIGNS, BANNERS AND AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Friday, September 25, 2026: Oktoberfest, 4-10:00 PM

Location: CLC-Carmel

Join active duty, veterans, and others who serve for a beer and conversation at reserved tables.  

Tuesday, October 27, 2026: Battlemind to Home Summit

This year’s conference will be on October 27, with preconference sessions on October 26. The Battlemind to Home Summit brings together a variety of experts each year to inform and educate Indiana professionals on the critical issues facing military-connected families in Indiana’s communities. Our goal for this conference is to help reduce reintegration barriers for veterans, service members and their families. We work to educate attendees on the challenges military-connected families face, and the opportunities and strengths they bring to our communities.

7:00 PM Set up 

Saturday, July 3

• 8:00-10:30 AM Set up and host
• 9:30 AM Parade line up begins
• Tear down decorations after parade participants depart
• 12:00 PM Greet returning parade participants and distribute the last of the snacks
