September 10, 2026, 12:00-2:00 PM: HVAF Stand Down

Location: Indiana National Guard Armory, 3912 West Minnesota Street, Indianapolis, IN

Stand Down are events during which VA staff and volunteers provide food, clothing and health screenings to homeless and at-risk Veterans. In addition, Veterans also receive referrals for health care, housing solutions, employment, substance use treatment, mental health counseling and other essential services.

Military Ministry Member goal: to observe and connect to discover and decide CLC MM participation in the 2027 Stand Down.

VA Homeless Programs Stand Downs


September 15: 7:00 PM, Military Ministry Meeting, CLC-Carmel Room 102

Location: CLC-Carmel, Room 102

Come and join the planning and update meetings.


September 17, 2026, 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM: POW-MIA Council "Watchfire"

Indiana War Memorial (IWM), 55 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN,

4-6:00 PM: The program will begin outdoors on the north side of the with placement of 1,700+ flag representing one for each of Indiana’s still Missing in Action from WWII through Vietnam War.  

6-8:00 PM, the program will continue indoors in historic Pershing Auditorium for the formal ceremony and reading of the names.

September 19, 2026, 7:30 PM: Honor Flight

Location: Plainfield High School Gymnasium, 1 Red Pride Drive, Plainfield, IN

Return flight is scheduled for 8:30 PM arrival

BRING AMERICAN FLAGS, SIGNS, BANNERS AND AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!



Friday, September 25, 4-10:00 PM at CLC-Carmel

Greet our service members and first responders at Oktoberfest. Look for the "reServed" tables.
